October 15 – October 25

Looking back, Looking Ahead : Six years of Asia Week San Francisco Bay Area

12:00 am–12:00 pm

As we look forward to the sixth edition of Asia Week San Francisco Bay Area amid this special year of global pandemic and a much divided domestic and international world by partisan and ideology, everything seems uncertain and changed. However, many things remain unchanged, and become even more important, such as the mission of fostering cultural diversity and tolerance, and the healing function of art. As most of our participating partners, we are not going to have an onsite event or any gathering for this year’s Asia Week. Rather, we took this opportunity to look back for the past five years – videos of the past five years’ Opening and Symposium can be viewed at the links below. By reflecting where and how we come from, we hope that we can be more certain of the path ahead and create a brighter future for Asia Week.
