Located in the historic Japantown San Jose the ArtObjectGallery has been exhibiting paintings, prints, photography and sculpture by some of the areas best known and accomplished artists. Opened by Ken Matsumoto in April of 2000 it is the longest lived gallery in the South Bay. Housed in what was once a walnut packing facility the warehouse visitors often experience a unique sense of discovery when stepping into the gallery’s track lit white walls, carpeted floors and of course the artwork they find inside. This location also is the site of several art studios, as well as a meditation group’s Zendo.
